Embarrassment

I wrote this in a sudden in this morning, just because I felt nervous and scared. Wonder what I did that made me so not “stable”, or who was talking about me that let me shiver and…

Today morning, I went into the library with enthusiasm. (I don’t know why, but I just felt great!) Then out of the sudden, my cell phone dropped and falls down straight to the ground. “Plak!!!!!!” All the component of my phone just “shattered” like the broken glasses everywhere the floor.

Then, there was a guy…(stop thinking about those romance movie’s storyline, like the guy is a handsome ones, then he was so kind-hearted and help me pick up the phone, then
I say thank you, them…)

He stood aside watching me to pick up all the pieces of my cell-phone. Hey! This is embarrassing!!! It is not the fact that he didn’t helped me out, is the thing that I dropped my cell-phone, and I was bending down in front of him then squatting down in front of him just to pick up the components of the cell-phone on the floor. I was going round and round just to make sure that I did not left out something.

I want to emphasize that I felt embarrassed not because that the one standing was a guy, but the fact was I had embarrassed myself in front of a human being! Such disgraceful moment I had in such an early day! What the ………

By the way, I just can’t stop and not to write what had happened in front of me…

The couples in front of me really made me chilled…

Hey come on! This is library you know! Can’t you guys have some self-control???

Respect

Respect is something people always emphasize on, especially Chinese. There is a proverb from Chinese “zhun lao jing xian” which means respect the elderly and also the young ones. However, people nowadays, mainly the younger generations, seldom respect almost anyone.

I know not everyone doesn’t respect the others, so I said mainly. As now everyone can see, teenagers nowadays merely have no the respect to the elderly, or should I say someone who is older than them, or even to the others who are younger or same age with them. Being a college student, I do think they should have a mature thinking, a better mentality, but it seems that I am wrong…

During lectures, no matter how strong is your hatred towards a specific subject, you also have to pay the least respect to the lecturers by not making too much noise. The lecturer says:

“You want to sleep is ok, just don’t turn on the engine.”
“You want to listen to mp3, is ok, as long that you don’t disturb the class.”
See, the lecturer already “open one eye, and close one eye”, what you still want from the lecturer? Can’t they just cooperate with the lecturer and let the one who wants to listen have a peace of mind? Sometimes I just don’t understand them…Am I too mature or they are sort of not mature enough? The noise that they created was so loud that actually often annoyed the lecturer and those who want to listen to the lecture.

Then, another case is some of them don’t respect the lecture’s right. During the orientation, the programme director had mentioned that during lectures, students are not allowed to do any recording either in video or audio form, due to copyright. However, some students didn’t respect the lecturer’s right. They still do the recording without the permission of the lecturer. I wonder do they know how to interpret human’s words… haiz….

I really disagree with what are they doing, I just felt that the mentality is not there. If you think it sounds offensive, I would like to apologize at first, because I don’t meant it, is just the way I express my dissatisfaction towards those who don’t respect the others. “Do onto the others like you want others to do onto you.” Never forget, because of those freaks, I have to face a test next week!!!
