Although I can’t do anything about it, yet, I concerned. What I concern about? Honestly, is the Chinese’s candidate. As time passes, it is not hard to realize that, the amount of Chinese ministers, politicians and candidates keep on “deteriorate” or reducing drastically, just like the composition of Chinese in Malaysia. In the past, composition of Chinese in Malaysia was more than the Indians but look at the situation now, the Indians is chasing up the Chinese, even the amount foreign workers is also increasing…
Where is the Chinese??
This make me recall on what I had learned is Malaysian Studies. My lecturer told us that, before world war 2, the Chinese was most likely not interested in politics due to the oppression that they experienced. After world war 2, they felt that there is a chance for British to leave the country, so then, they realized that there is a need in participating in politics.
What about today??
In my point of view, people were disappointed with what the previous politicians had down in the past 3 years. Everything increasing, sexiest remarks, raciest remarks, corruption, justice and lots more that made the people now have no trust in this previous parliament. Now, is time to have a change, like the DAP’s slogan for this year election. Most people, as what I heard will vote for opposition rather than BN as they are not satisfied with the “effort” that they put in. So, they plan for a change, they want to take the risk to have a change.
I truly believe that the DAP will gain a great victory in this election…
By the way, I am quite sad that Chew Mei Fen in Petaling Jaya Utara. She is such kind and really helpful and attends most of the functions that my primary school (when invited) if she able to make it. I like her. My primary school is not famous at all in anything, I suppose (base on my years in there), yet she gives us all the supports that we needed. I really like her. Just that, the current situation somehow ended her progression in this politics life. Never mind, Chew Mei Fen, I support you forever.
May 13 riots really affected lots of people, especially the tension between Chinese and Malays. Will this sad memory and experience and also history repeat again in the future history? Think about it.
